Brief Introduction

Dr Anju Sharma joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 10.02.2020 after completing BSc (Biotechnology) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in 2008 and M. Sc. (Biochemistry) from PAU in 2010. She did her PhD (Biochemistry) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2014. She has worked as Research Associate in PAU from 2014-2020. She joined as Assistant Professor on 10.02.2020 – till date. Her field of specialization is Plant Biochemistry. She has been the class incharge of M. Sc Integrated (Biochemistry) UG students of 2020 batch. She is currently guiding one M.Sc. student as major advisor. She has one five-year ongoing project funded by DBT as Co-PI from 2021-2026. She has published 13 research papers in national and international journals and participated in 5 national and international conferences. She has published 2 book chapters. She is a life member of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Division of Biochemistry, ICAR-IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.
