Brief Introduction

Dr. Kamaljit Kaur joined as Biochemist on 04-04-2011. She did her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. She did her Ph.D. from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. She qualified Joint CSIR-UGC (NET) Examination and was awarded JRF and SRF of CSIR, New Delhi. She joined as Senior Biochemist on 04-04-2023. She has completed one Major Project (as PI) funded by UGC, New Delhi, in 2013. Till date, she has guided 15 M.Sc. and 3 Ph.D. students, as Major Advisor. She has published research articles in journals of national and international repute. Her research outcomes have been presented in national and international conferences and awarded best poster/paper certificates. She is Incharge, NCC, Councillor, PAU Red Cross Executive Committee and Member, Board of Studies, College of Basic sciences and Humanities. She is chairperson of teaching committee of the department and member of Academic Affairs Committee of the College.
