Dr (Mrs) Arjinder Kaur is working as Principal Agricultural Economist in the Agro Economic Research centre, Department of Economics and Sociology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana since November, 2016. She did her B.A. (Hons), Punjabi University from Patiala in 1989, Master of Arts (Economics) from Punjabi University, Patiala in 1991 and Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2010. She joined this university in 1996 as an Assistant Economist under NABARD Chair Unit. Her major area of research has remained agricultural finance and credit and its utilization. She has taught various courses related to Agricultural Economics at UG as well as PG levels, being in the teaching scheme for fifteen years. She has published 12 research reports, about 60 research papers in various journals of repute as well as 16 extension publications. She has been a Co-PI in one state sponsored project, PI in one Major Research project funded by GC and Co-PI in one International Project sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She is a member of various professional societies and has also held various offices in these.
