Brief Introduction

Dr. Laishram Priscilla joined PAU as an Agricultural Economist on 25.08.2018 under the Research Scheme “Establishment of Department of Economics and Sociology, R and E- 27 (PC-1054.2)” of the department after completing BSc (Agriculture) from Central Agricultural University in 2010 and M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) from GBPUAT, Pantnagar in 2012. She did her Ph.D (Agricultural Economics) from ICAR-NDRI, Karnal in 2017. She has worked as Research Associate at ICAR-NIAP, New Delhi from November 2017 to August 2018. She is currently involved as co-PI in the network project funded by ICAR-NIAP titled ““Ecosystems, agribusiness and institutions” Component 1: “Impact assessment of agricultural technology” since 2022. She has guided 4 Masters and 3 Ph.D. students as major advisor, published 40 research papers in national and international journals and presented more than 10 papers in various and seminars and conferences.
