Brief Introduction

Dr. Narinderpal Singh joined PAU on regular basis as District Extension Specialist (FM) on 28.08.2002 after completing B. Sc. Agril. (Hons.) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 1995 and M.Sc. Agril. Econ. from PAU in 1997. He did his Ph.D. in Agril. Economics from PAU, Ludhiana in 2001. He joined as Extension Specialist (Farm Management) on 28.08.2014 and Principal Extension Scientist (Agricultural Economics) from 2017-till date. He also joined as District Extension Specialist (Senior Most) on 04.03.2016 at Farm Advisory Service Centre, KVK, Amritsar, Punjab (2016-till date). He had participated in six ICAR sponsored refresher courses. Farm Advisory Service Centre, Amritsar is an organic link between the university extension and research system and providing extension services to field functionaries and farm beneficiaries of district Amritsar. He collaborated with KVK, Amritsar and other departments of the district for rapid transfer of technology and involved in testing and refining of the new technologies. As an additional work he had taken initiative to sustainably safeguard and sustain the life of Rich Historical Trees at Sachkhand Harmandar Sahib, Amritsar.
