Dr. Anand Gautam joined as an Assistant Professor in the discipline of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Ferozepur, under the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. Since his appointment on December 3, 2018, On March 27, 2025, he was transferred to the College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology (COAE&T) as Assistant Professor (Agril. Engineering). His work primarily focuses on implementing and promoting climate-resilient and conservation agriculture technologies and mechanization support for small and marginal farmers. Dr. Anand Gautam holds a Ph.D. in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering from PAU, Ludhiana (2016), preceded by an M.Tech. (2010) and B.Tech. (2008) in the same discipline from IGKV, Raipur. He has delivered over 142 lectures in various farmer training programs, Kisan Melas, awareness camps, and district-level events. He has organized and facilitated 42 one-day/in-service training programs, conducted over 280 field visits, and played an active role in numerous Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs), On-Farm Trials (OFTs), adaptive research trials, and technology dissemination campaigns. His extension work also includes survey studies across more than 150 villages, and participation in 8 exhibitions showcasing innovative farm technologies and CRM machinery.
