Brief Introduction

Dr. Inderjit Singh Grewal is a academician and researcher in the field of Sample Survey, with over two decades of teaching and research experience. He earned his B.Sc. (Non-Medical) from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1989, followed by an M.Sc. (1992) and Ph.D. (1996) in Statistics from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. Dr. Grewal began his academic career as an Assistant Statistician at Regional Research Station, Abohar in 1997, then joined PAU as Assistant Professor in 1998, progressing to Associate Professor in 2006 and becoming a Professor in 2013. His core research interests lie in Sample Survey methodology, particularly in the application and development of Randomized Response Techniques. He has contributed to significant research projects, including the statistical evaluation of regional disparities in socio-economic development across Punjab. Dr. Grewal has authored numerous impactful research publications. His work includes statistical evaluation of agricultural development using factor analysis, application of geometric distribution in randomized response models, and estimation techniques for finite population variance.
