Brief Introduction

Dr. Rupinder Pal Singh is currently an Assistant Professor (joined on 28.12.2010) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University, and Ludhiana Punjab. He has fifteen years of experience in thermo fluid sciences pertaining to the design and optimization of renewable energy systems. His interests lie in Energy storage devices (system optimization/ characterization of storage materials), Bio-energy systems, Waste heat recovery, and nano-fluid heat transfer.

His PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi involved heat transfer studies of medium temperature thermal energy storage systems. He has also worked at ERIAN, Energy research institute @ Nanyang Technological University, Singaporeunder the supervision of a renowned Prof. Alessandro Romagnoli.  Dr. Singh was also awarded with fully funded Dutch fellowship to undergo advanced training entitled “at the Netherlands. He has also got MHRD scholarship (under QIP) for pursuing his Doctoral degree. Dr. Singh has published and reviewed many research papers with high-impact factors.Currently, he is also holding the charge of NSS programme officer of the college.
