Dr. Anna Goyal joined PAU as Mycologist (Mushrooms) on 06.09.2024 after completing B.Sc. (Medical) from Government College for Women, Ludhiana in 2007 and M.Sc. (Microbiology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2009. She did her Ph.D. (Microbiology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2013. She has worked as Research Associate from August 2014 – September 2024 in Oilseed Section, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, PAU and as Research Fellow in Department of Soils, PAU from August 2013 – August 2014. Her field of specialization is Industrial Microbiology (Mushrooms). She is currently involved in the schemes namely, “Strengthening of Mushroom Production in Punjab State (Punjab State Scheme R&E-83)” and Revolving Fund Scheme (PAU). She has published 16 research papers in national and international journals presented 12 papers in national and international conferences. She is actively involved in training sessions for farmers on mushroom cultivation. Presently she is the member of working committee of State Training Centre for IAS/PCS and Other Competitive Examinations, PAU, for empowering youth for civil services and other exams.
