Brief Introduction

Dr. Gagandeep Banga did her graduation in B.Sc (Chem.) Hons and post-graduation in MBA (Marketing Management) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and PhD (Business Administration) from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in 2007. Her field of specialization is Marketing Management. She also worked with Oswal Agro Group as Assistant Manager (Commercial) from 1988- 1991. She joined Punjab Agricultural University as Assistant Professor on 12.8.1998, as Associate Professor on 12.8.2007 and as Professor on 12.8.2013. She has guided 105 MBA and MBA(AB) students and 4 PhD students as Major advisor and contributed a total of 190 Research publications including 120 research papers in national and international journals of repute, 13 Book chapters, 48 Papers presented in National and International Conferences, 6 popular articles and 3 Bulletin/ Reports. She has delivered 95 lectures in various training programmes for farmers, AOs, ADOs, HDOs, KVK Scientists and entrepreneurs. She has completed one research project funded by UGC. Presently she is the Nominee of Dean, PGS at University level, Member of Academic Affairs Committee of College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, Chairperson Academic Affairs Committee of School of Business Studies.
