Brief Introduction

Dr. Preeti joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 22.10.2019. She holds a B.Tech in Dairy Technology (Bronze Medalist, ICAR-NDRI, 2012), M.Tech in Food Process Engineering (NIFTEM, 2014), and Ph.D. in Dairy Engineering (ICAR-NDRI, Bangalore). She has served as Assistant Professor at Jain Deemed to be University from August 2018 to July 2019.

She has received several fellowships including MHRD, Nestlé India, GATE, and UGC-RGN. An active academic, she has presented at and organized national and international conferences, coordinated an ICAR-sponsored winter school (2025), and received multiple awards including Young Scientist and Outstanding Reviewer. She has published over 30 research and review papers, 12 international books, 22 book chapters, and numerous popular articles. With two published patents and AUTOCAD certification, she also serves as an examiner for Indian agricultural universities, and is an editor/reviewer for reputed journals. She is a life member of professional bodies like IDEA, USFN, InSc, and VDGOOD. She has been awarded an international fellowship to present her research globally.
