Dr. Sayeed Patel has authored 23 research papers, two review papers, five book chapters, presented 13 papers in international and national conferences. He also published 19 popular articles, delivered two radio talks and 13 extension lectures. He has a teaching experience of seven years to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He guided two M.Sc. as major advisor and currently one M.Sc and one PhD is working under his mentorship. He completed one research project as Co-PI and actively involved in crop improvement of tomato, chilli and capsicum. An AICRP (VC) Best Centre team award was confirmed during annual meet on 3-5th March 2025. He was a university merit scholarship holder during 1st year of PhD and.also awarded the merit fellowship during his Ph.D and received international travel grant and summer scholarship to attend summer school at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rehovot Campus, Israel.
