Er. Manpreet Kaur joined Punjab Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in 2011 after completing her M.E in Structures from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. She contributed to the development of e-courses for Engineering Mechanics under the National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) on the Development of e-Courses for B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), coordinated by Anand Agricultural University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Guelph, Canada, with a full scholarship awarded on a merit basis. Her research focuses on identifying the threshold events responsible for the sediments and phosphorus from agricultural watersheds in the Great Lakes and their water quality management. She is a member of professional societies, including the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE). She is committed to advancing agricultural engineering education and research, integrating local expertise with international experience to enhance the field.
