Dr. Rajni joined PAU as District Extension Specialist (DES) on 30.04.2010 at Farm Advisory Service Scheme (FASS), Amritsar after completing BSc (Agriculture) from GNDU, Amritsar in 2004 and MSc (Agriculture) in 2006. She did her PhD (Agronomy) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2010. She joined PAU, Ludhiana as Assistant Professor on 31.10.2016 and Associate Professor on 30.04.2022 (till date). She has guided 3 M.Sc students as major advisor and 2 UG advisement, published 32 research papers in national and international journals, 2 manuals, 4 book chapters and 29 extension articles, and also presented 6 papers in national and international conferences. She also acted as peer reviewer for NAAS rated journals. She organized 15 field days, 19 short duration, 2 vocational and 3 In-service trainings. She also delivered 51 extension lectures in District and block level camps and 3 Radio talks.
