Dr. (Mrs) Neeraj Rani joined PAU as Assistant Professor (Soil Science) at KVK, Muktsar on 2nd July, 2008 after MSc (Soil Science). He completed B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Soil Science) and Ph.D. (Soil Science) in 1999, 2002 and 2017 from Punjab Agricultural University, respectively. He has published about 41 research/review papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals besides, 70 extension articles, 3 extension bulletins and 4 book chapters. He has 12 recommendations apart from different cropping systems, includes the production technology of vermicompost included in PAU Package of Practices in Kharif and Rabi crops. Apart from this she is also a member of various professional societies. Three students have completed an MSc as major advisors. Two students are doing their MSc under her guidance as a major advisor besides being member in three MSc and eight PhD students as advisory committees. He also serves as a reviewer for reputed journals, including the Agricultural Research Journal
