Brief Introduction

Dr. Subash Singh joined PAU as Assistant Acarologist in the Department of Entomology under All India Coordinated Research Project on 16.10.2007. He completed his B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.) in year 2000, M.Sc. (Entomology) in 2002, and Ph.D. (Entomology) as in-service in 2016 from PAU, Ludhiana. He has published more than 50 research/review papers in national and international peer reviewed journals besides 12 conference papers, 140 extension articles, 1 booklet, 1 bulletin and 4 book chapters. He has 13 recommendations in the PAU Package of Practices. He has handled two testing projects of Private sectors. He is also a member of various professional societies. One student has completed MSc as major advisor under his guidance and two students are doing their MSc under his guidance. Presently, he is member in the advisory committees of three MSc and one PhD student. He has also been serving as Hostel Warden of PAU boy hostels (Hostel 1, 13). He has also acted as reviewer for some reputed journals including Journal of Environmental Biology, Legume Research and Indian Journal of Entomology etc.

  • Synthesis, characterization and evaluation of bioformulations from plants and animal ingredients against insect pests in various crops under organic farming conditions
