Completed B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) in 2004 from Khalsa College, Amritsar (GNDU, Amritsar), M.Sc.(Soil Science) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2007, and Ph.D. (in-service) in 2021 from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of JammuHis doctoral research focused on “Short-term effects of conservation agriculture practices on soil quality under rice-wheat cropping system”. He began his academic career as Assistant Professor (Soil Science) at KVK, Mansa and presently working as Soil Chemist in Department of Soil Science, PAU Ludhiana. His research interests include study on wastewater and groundwater quality, and conservation agriculture. Handling research projects as Co-PI on the assessment of contaminants in crops grown in Punjab and wastewater reuse under the One Health approach. He has published over 10 research papers in SCI-indexed journals, and several extension articles on various aspects of soil science.
