Dr. Opinder Singh Sandhu has completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from Khalsa College, Amritsar and, M.Sc. & Ph.D. (Soil Science) from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. He is currently serving as a Soil Scientist in the Department of Soil Science at PAU, his research focuses on crop residue management, integrated nutrient management, soil health, and nutrient dynamics. With a strong academic and research profile, Dr. Sandhu has authored 14 research articles, one book chapter, one training manual, five extension bulletins, and 42 extension articles. He has also played a key role in testing two innovative technologies recommended by PAU for farmers in Punjab. Beyond research and extension, Dr. Sandhu is deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. He currently serves as the major advisor for two M.Sc. students and actively contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education at PAU.
