Brief Introduction

Completed B.Sc. (Agriculture) in 2001, M.Sc. (Soil Science) in 2004, and Ph.D (Soils) in 2016 from CSU, Australia and then joined as Assistant Soil Scientist in 2016 at Borlaug Institute for South Asia, Ludhiana. Presently working as Soil Physicist in the Department of Soil Science, Punjab Agricultural University since April 2020. Handled three research projects as Co-PI. Presently, primary research focus is on water budgeting under mungbean based rice-wheat and maize-wheat cropping systems and quantification of irrigation water saving with best management practices. For this, Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority, Punjab also funded a research project on water saving with best management practices which is still in progress. Also awarded International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) Scholar award for South Asia in 2013 and International Post graduate Research Scholarship by Australian University.
