Dr Meena has completed B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) in 2013 from Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat) and M.Sc. (Soil Science) in 2015 from CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur (Himachal Pradesh). He has completed Ph.D. (Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry) in 2019 from the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bengaluru. He has worked as Research Associate in All India Coordinated Research Project entitled “Long Term Fertilizer Experiments (ICAR-012-15)” in the Department of Soil Science, CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur (India) from 19-12-2019 to 28.01.2021. Dr Meena Joined PAU in 2021 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil Science, PAU, Ludhiana. Additionally, He has also been associated with the Soil Salinity scheme in the Department of Soil Science, where we demonstrated the usefulness of microbial bio-formulations, biochar, and yellow gypsum for the reclamation of salt-affected soils, and presently, working on amelioration of salt-affected soils, and use of poor-quality water.
