Subject: Filling up the post of Ground Helper on contractual basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,726/- p.m. fixed + (additional Rs.800/- p.m.) out of the Scheme “Amalgamated Fund”.

Applications are invited on the prescribed Performa available on the PAU website for filling up the post of Ground Helper on contractual basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,726 /- p.m. fixed + (additional Rs.800/- p.m.) out of the Scheme “Amalgamated Fund”.

The qualification/Experience prescribed for the post is as under:-

• Middle with Punjabi.
• Age limit 18 to 58 years.

Desirable: Experience of playground preparation and maintenance and the candidates should be physically able. Preference will be given to the candidates who have been working as DPLs/ Contractual in the Play Grounds of PAU/ respective field in PAU/ Outstations for 10 years. Local candidate will be preferred.

Note : Reservation will be applicable as per Punjab Govt. policy.

The last date to receive the applications for the above said post is 10/02/2026.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications should send their applications complete in all respects along with attested passport sized photograph, attested copies of the certificates/testimonials and a Bank Draft of Rs.118/- including GST in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.

Applications received without the prescribed application fee/received after the due date shall not be considered. The candidates must mention their complete address and mobile number in the application. The date for the practical test will be intimated later on, Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of Practical Test. No TA/DA will be given for attending the above test.

The engagement for the above mentioned post will be initially for a period of six months in the first instance. The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice. The person so appointed will have either to deposit one month salary or to submit one month’s notice or the salary for the period falling short of one month if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice-versa.
