Dr. Ramandeep Singh, currently serving as Director, joined Punjab Agricultural University in January 1995. With over 29 years of academic excellence, he has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and extension activities in the areas of Marketing Management, Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship, and Human Resource Management. He holds a B.Sc. (Forestry) from PAU, an MBA from Punjabi University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Guru Nanak Dev University.

He has taught more than 36 postgraduate and doctoral-level courses such as Marketing Strategy, Agri-business Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management. He has guided over 75 MBA/MBA (AB) dissertations and more than 6 Ph.D. scholars. Currently, he is leading a prestigious DST, GoI-funded NIDHI-TBI project aimed at fostering agribased innovations and start-ups. He also recently co-edited the book “Agribusiness 4.0 – GlobalTech for a Sustainable Future.”

Dr. Singh has a rich academic and outreach record with over 65 research publications, 10 book chapters, 4 bulletins and 60 extension articles. He has delivered 600 expert sessions for farmers, youth, policymakers, and agripreneurs, along with contributions to 30 TV talks, 25 videos and 20 radio programs.

He actively leverages digital platforms, including over 15 WhatsApp commodity groups, 8 Facebook groups, and a dedicated YouTube channel, to disseminate technologies and support startups. His strong institutional collaborations include Markfed, Punjab Agro, CII, FAPRO, PAMETI, among others.

A former national-level sportsperson, he holds AIU Color and PAU Roll of Honour and serves as President of COBSH Sports Committee and PAU Handball Committee.
