Dr. Rupinder Kaur started her professional career as Assistant Professor (Home Science) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, S.B.S. Nagar (05.05.1995 to 20.07.1998). She served at the same post at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sangrur (21.07.1998 to12.09.2002) and at PAU, Ludhiana in 2002. She was promoted as Associate Professor, Extension Education on 06.08.2011 and as Professor in the same Department on 01.08.2014. She joined as Associate Director (Skill Development) at PAU, Ludhiana on 06.06.2023. She worked as President of Fine Arts and Photography Club of PAU, Vice-President of DDMC, College of Agriculture, and President of Fine Arts, Photography and Heritage events committee, College of Agriculture. Dr. Rupinder Kaur was assigned additional charge of Associate Director, Culture on June 2024.

Being Associate Director Culture, she has been supervising all the youth and cultural activities of the University students.
