Brief Introduction

Dr. Harleen Kaur completed her B.Sc. (Agriculture) in 2012, and M.Sc. (Agricultural Meteorology) in 2014, and Ph.D. (Agricultural Meteorology) in 2018 from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Since November 26, 2019, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Climate Change & Agricultural Meteorology at Punjab Agricultural University, where she is involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She has participated in 07 national seminars, symposia, and workshops. She has delivered 08 lectures during trainings organized by PAMETI, PAU, Ludhiana. Her research contributions include 11 research papers, 05 presentations at national conferences, 01 bulletin, 01 folder, 02 bilingual folders, 06 book chapters, and 14 extension articles. She has served on the advisory committee for 06 students and currently guiding 02 M.Sc. student as major advisor. She is guiding UG students batch of B.Sc (Agri). She is an active organizer during the college level cultural activities. She holds administrative responsibilities as Assistant Warden of girls’ hostel and Store Incharge in the department. She actively contributes to various departmental, college, and university-level committees.
