Dr. Sarabjot Kaur Sandhu joined PAU as Assistant Agrometeorologist on 11.10.2006 after completed B.Sc Agri (Hons.), M.Sc (Agricultural Meteorology) in 2001 and 2003, respectively from PAU, Ludhiana. She did her PhD (Agricultural Meteorology) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2015. At present, she is working as Principal Agrometeorologist. Her field of specialization is crop-weather-pest interactions, microclimate modification studies in different crops. She is currently involved in one SERB funded research project on wheat as Co-PI. She has guided 9 MSc and 1 PhD students as major advisor, published 80 research papers in national and international journals. She has published many popular articles in magazines and newspapers, three pamphlets and three bulletins for dissemination to the farmers of state.  She was involved in development of three practical manuals for UG and PG students. She is serving as Farm in charge since April 2019. Presently she is chairperson of the extension committee of Department of Climate Change & Agricultural Meteorology.
