Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur joined as Assistant professor during November 26, 2019 after completing her B.Sc. (Agriculture) (Hons.) (2010), M.Sc. (2012) and Ph.D. (2016) in Agricultural Meteorology from Department of Climate Change & Agricultural Meteorology, PAU, Ludhiana. She is involved in teaching courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has published 09 research papers, presented 04 papers at national conferences. She has also published two teaching manuals, two book chapters, one bulletin (150 pages), one folder (36 pages), 2 bilingual folders (8 pages each) and 15 extension articles. She has delivered 05 lectures during exposure visits of various school and college students organized by Communication Centre, PAU Ludhiana. She is currently guiding one M.Sc. students as major advisor and serving as member of the advisory committee of 8 students. She is also the incharge of the Agrometeorological Observatory as well as Departmental library. She has served as the Joint Secretary of Indian Society of Remote Sensing, Ludhiana Chapter and actively involved in various committees at the department, college, and university level.
