Dr. Anureet Kaur Chandi joined Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 2002 as Assistant Professor of Plant Protection at KVK, Kapurthala. She later served as Assistant Professor of Entomology from 2006-2016; Associate Professor (Entomology) from 2016- 2019 and since 2019 has been working as Professor (Entomology) in the Department of Entomology. In her academic career, she has taught 114 undergraduate and postgraduate courses and authored 03 practical manuals for students. She has Published 62 research papers, 09 book chapters, 23 popular articles and 29 abstracts. She has contributed 06 research based recommendations for farmers, delivered 85 expert lectures, 11 radio talks and one television talk to promote agricultural knowledge. She has also organized 45 trainings, 13 frontline demonstrations and conducted extensive field surveys. She has handled 07 research projects as Principal Investigator/Co-PI. She has guided 05 M.Sc. and 01 Ph.D. scholar as major advisor. Alongside her academic and research work, Dr. Chandi has actively contributed to the university’s co-curricular and cultural activities holding positions such as; President, Dance, Drama, and Music Club; Vice-President, Fine Arts, Photography and Heritage Events Committee, Member, PAU Sports and Cultural Committee, PAU Science Club and acted as Coordinator for PAU contingents on several occasions at National youth festival, All India Inter-University, North Zone Inter-University, State-level Youth Festivals
and organized various cultural events at PAU conferences/workshops/alumni meets etc.

- Insecticide resistance risk assessment in rice plant hopper, Sogatella furcifera funded by UGC (2013-2017)
- Behavioural physiology of tobacco caterpillar, Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) and brinjal shoot and fruit borer Leucinodes orbonalis Guenee” funded by DST, SERB (2017-2021)
