Dr. Davinder Singh joined Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana as Extension Scientist in October 2020. He completed his B.Sc. (Agriculture) in 2012, M.Sc. (Extension Education) in January 2015 and Ph.D. (Extension Scientist) in October 2019 from PAU, Ludhiana. His field of specialization is Extension Administration. His research interests include dissemination and adoption of innovations, design and evaluation of extension methodologies, and organizational development. He has taught 11 undergraduate and 9 postgraduate courses and has guided one M.Sc. student as major advisor. He has published a total of 20 research papers (including 1 in a journal with NAAS rating above 6.0) till 2025. He has been actively involved in field-level extension activities, having organized 13 field/special days, 17 trainings, 8 exhibitions, 8 surveys, 23 lectures, 2 exposure visits, and 11 Kisan Melas. In addition to his academic and extension roles, he also serves as the President of the Weight Lifting sport at the college level. He continues to contribute to agricultural development through his teaching, research, and grassroots extension efforts.
