Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur joined PAU as Extension Scientist on 26.04.2018 after completing BSc Agriculture from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2012 and M.Sc Extension Education (Agriculture) from Punjab Agricultural University in 2014. She did her PhD Extension Education (Agriculture) from Punjab Agricultural University in 2017. She has worked with PAU as Researcg Fellow from 2017-2018. She joined as Extension Scientist on 26.04.2018. She held the additional charge of Assistant Warden Girls Hostel from 2018 to till date. She also held the additional duties as Programme Officer, National Service Sacheme from 2022 to till date. Her field of specialization is Communication and Adoption of Innovations. She has completed one project funded by National Horticulture Mission as Co-PI in 2019. She has guided two M.Sc students as major advisor, published 20 research papers in national and international journals and presented 7 papers in national and international conferences. She has delivered 60 lectures to guide farmers and entrepreneurs in Agriculture and Farm Management sector. She is a member of various national and international research societies.
