  1. Development of high forage yielding varieties/hybrids of different forage crops with inbuilt resistance to insect pests and diseases
  2. Breeding for dual purpose genotypes of sorghum and Pearl Millet
  3. Breeding for sweet sorghum genotypes for good quality ethanol production
