Actively involved in development and release of four varieties of soybean, four hybrids of sunflower and one variety of Linseed.
Published more than 70 research papers with high NAAS rating.
Contribution in6 adhoc research projects.
Taught plant breeding and genetics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Guided 11 M.Sc., 3 Ph.D. students as major advisor and member of advisory committee of many post graduate students and 20 UG students of B.Sc Agriculture (Hons.) programme as advisor.
Significant contribution in popularization of released varieties of soybean, sunflower and other oilseed varieties through popular articles (12), radio/TV talks (2), lectures at training camps (6) and Kisan Melas etc.
Delivered many lectures for popularizing the academic programmes of the university at various platforms.
Actively involved in preparation of Accreditation report of the College of Agriculture and the University and implementation of BSMA guidelines for PG and Ph.D programmes and UG course curriculum as per Sixth Deans committee recommendations.
Organized six CAFT trainings as course coordinator in Genetics and Plant Breeding since the year 2015.
