Er. Arshdeep Singh joined PAU as Assistant Professor (Agril. Engg.) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ludhiana (Samrala) in 2013 after completing B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2005 and M. Tech. (Farm Power and Machinery) from PAU, Ludhiana in 2007. Later he joined as Asstt. Engineer/Scientist in the Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engg., PAU, Ludhiana on 02.09.2013. His field of specialization is development and evaluation of machinery for paddy residue management and planting and transplanting machinery. He has completed 03 projects as Co-PI funded by NFSM, DST and ICAR NAHEP. He has published 19 research papers in national and international journals, presented 14 papers in national and international conferences. He has published 62 extension articles and 14 extension bulletins. He has delivered 116 extension lectures and 16 Radio/TV talks. He was Chairman of Extension Sub-Committee of the department and Incharge, Department Research Farm. Presently he is doing PhD as in-service candidate at PAU, Ludhiana.

- Evaluation and popularization of technologies for paddy straw management (Component A: Refinement and Popularization of Machinery for Paddy Straw Management) funded by NFSM, Govt. of India in 2018 as Co-PI.
- Refinement and multi-location feasibility studies of straw management system for combine harvester to evenly spread loose residues funded by CSIR-CMERI CoEFM, Ludhiana and DST India in 2021 as Co-PI.
- ICAR NAHEP-CAAST School of Natural Resource Management for Sustainable Agriculture funded by ICAR/World Bank in 2021 as Co-PI.
- Field trial for in-situ paddy straw degradation funded by State govt. as Associated Scientist in 2023.
