Brief Introduction

Completed B.Sc. (Agriculture) in 1992, M.Sc. (Soils) in 1995 and Ph.D. (Soils) in 2006 from PAU and then joined PAU as Assistant Soil Scientist on August 5, 1996 at Regional Research Station, Ballowal Saunkhri (Balachaur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar). Worked as Soil Chemist in the Department of Soil Science, PAU from 2006 to 2012 and presently working as Principal Soil Chemist in the Department. Also looking after the work of Soil and Water Testing Laboratory, a facility for farmers. Presently, primary research focus is on carbon sequestration under different agricultural land-use systems in Punjab. Also awarded with University Merit Scholarship during B.Sc. and M.Sc.
