Brief Introduction

Dr Barinder Kaur joined Punjab Agricultural University on February, 2021 as an Assistant Professor. Her research interest primarily focuses on production technologies of major vegetable crops grown under Punjab conditions. Also, she is conducting trails related to production technologies of different vegetable crops under All India Coordinated Research Project on Vegetable Crops, as well as the All India Network Research Project on Onion and Garlic. At present, she is guiding two M.Sc. students, and a committee member of one Ph.D. student. She has been engaged in teaching of various courses of Vegetable Science to B.Sc. and M.Sc. students, and actively involved in various extension activities like delivering lectures to farmers in various training programmes, kisan mela stall duties, field visits etc.
