Dr. Ajay Kumar Choudhary holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Plant Pathology (Biocontrol) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He began his career in 2019 as District Extension specialist (Plant Pathology) at the FASC, Ferozepur, and currently serves at the School of Organic Farming, PAU. Over the past two years, he has been solely dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture through the development and evaluation of organic formulations and bioagents for the effective management of plant diseases. His work focuses on biological control and notable contributions in microbial genomics, particularly the identification and documentation of potent bacterial and fungal isolates. Dr. Choudhary has obtained 41 GenBank accession numbers and published 18 research papers in reputed journals.  Currently, he has guided one M.Sc student. His contributions to extension include 20 popular articles, many extension lectures, and a radio talk. He is also actively involved in teaching Plant Pathology courses to undergraduate students.
