Dr. (Mrs.) Arshdeep Kaur Gill is an Entomologist (Agroforestry) at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, with over 10 years of experience in economic entomology, insect biodiversity, and integrated pest management. She holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from PAU and specializes in insect-tree-crop interactions in forestry-based agroecosystems. Her research integrates ecological and molecular approaches to pest management. She began her academic career with a B.Sc. in Agriculture and has received notable honors including the Dr. G.S. Dhaliwal Gold Medal and the INSPIRE Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Before joining her current role in 2022, she worked as Assistant Professor (Plant Protection) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Moga, where she focused on farmer outreach and advisory services. Dr. Gill is committed to bridging the gap between research and field application, with the broader aim of promoting sustainable pest management and ecosystem conservation.
