Dr. Arun Kaushal has over 32 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension in Soil and Water Engineering. He earned his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from PKV Akola (1989), M.Tech in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar (1992) and Ph.D. from PAU Ludhiana (2004). A consistent merit scholarship holder, he began his career as an Assistant Professor at KVK Gurdaspur, PAU, in 1993 and joined the Department of Soil and Water Engineering in 2000, where he served in various academic and research roles. Dr. Kaushal has taught 116 UG/PG courses, delivered 400+ extension lectures and authored 74 publications including articles, book chapters, lab manuals, research and conference papers. He has guided 25 B.Tech projects, Eight M.Tech and Two Ph.D. scholars. An active member and awardee of several professional societies, he also contributes as a paper setter, evaluator and external expert at both State and National levels.
