Dr. Aseem Verma did his B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.), M.Tech. (Farm Machinery and Power Engineering) and Ph.D. (Farm Machinery and Power Engineering) from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana (Punjab). Dr Verma has more than 25 years of professional experience in industry and academia. Presently, he is serving as Scientist (FMPE) in All India Co-ordinated Research Project on FIM (ICAR) operational at the Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, PAU Ludhiana. He is associated with the development of many farm machines Patent has been granted for the machine tractor mounted ‘Biomass Incorporator’. He has published more than 50 research papers in national/international journals, 8 book chapters, and 58 extension articles/bulletins. Dr Verma is a recipient of the ISAE Team Award 2018, Dr. G.S. Khush Team Award 2018, and the NRDC National Societal Innovation Award – 2019. He also served as the Treasurer of the Alumni Association – CAET for four years.
