Brief Introduction

Dr. Bikramjit Singh joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 13.01.2011. He did B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) form Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala in 2004 and M.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in 2007. Before joining PAU, he served in the Research &Development Departments of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and International Tractors Ltd. He completed his Ph.D. from Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2022. He has completed a research project titled ‘CFD analysis of rib-roughened solar air heater duct’funded by UGC and is currently working on the project titled ‘Prototype feasibility testing of IISR deep furrow cutter planter for sugarcane’. He developed e-course of Machine Design for B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) under ICAR funded National Agricultural Innovation Project. He is also  serving as the President of the Young Writers’ Association, PAU and the President of the Atam Pargas Social Welfare Council, PAU Unit. He is member of Indian Society of Technical Education and Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers.
