Prior to his current role, Dr. Tiwari served as Assistant Professor of Extension Education at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Samrala, where he led initiatives in frontline demonstrations, adaptive research, and farmer education. His responsibilities included organizing training programs, exposure visits, and field-based extension activities aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Dr. Tiwari has contributed to several national and industry-funded projects as Co-Principal Investigator and Associate Scientist, with a focus on crop residue management, agricultural mechanization, and IoT-based water use efficiency. He has played a pivotal role in mobilizing rural communities into self-help groups (SHGs) and farmer producer organizations (FPOs), promoting self-reliance and improved market access.
In addition to his fieldwork, Dr. Tiwari is actively engaged in academic mentoring, having guided postgraduate students and contributed to university-level academic and extension committees. His commitment to capacity building is reflected in his efforts to enhance the skills of farmers and extension personnel through structured training and knowledge-sharing platforms.
