Brief Introduction

Dr. Gagandeep Kaur joined PAU as Assistant Mycologist in 2019 after earning her PhD in Microbiology from PAU in 2015. She previously worked at GADVASU (2015–2017) and Lovely Professional University (2017–2019). Since 2022, she has been actively engaged in the AICRP on Post Harvest Engineering and Technology, contributing to projects on millet flour shelf-life enhancement, eco-friendly xylitol production from corn and bajra by-products, and development of instant-mix probiotic juice powders. She is NSS Programme Officer for College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. A recipient of Merit and Senior Fellowships, she qualified ICAR-NET in 2016 and holds memberships in AMI and ISAE. She received an Elite Certificate from IIT Kanpur for Nanotechnology in Agriculture and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Dean, College of Agriculture, PAU, for teaching excellence
