Brief Introduction

Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Sidhu  is working as Principal Scientist in the Department of Processing and Food Engineering at PAU, Ludhiana. She started her professional journey as Assistant Research Engineer in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana on June 16, 1995 after completing B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) in 1989 followed by  M. Tech.(Processing and Agricultural Structures) in 1993 from College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, PAU. She did her PhD in Processing and Agricultural Structures from PAU, Ludhiana in 2005(In-service).She has been In charge of State Research Scheme of the department since 2023. She has successfully executed 6 research projects funded by ICAR, RDF, DST., applied for one Patent and one PAU REC recommendation. She has Published 60 research papers in peer reviewed journals,10 research bulletins/manuals/reports, 13 Book chapters and 25 popular/extension articles. She guided 3 Ph.D,  7 M.Tech and 20 B.Tech students till date
