Dr Romana has joined PAU as District Extension Specialist (FM) in 1991 to 2000, Extension Specialist (FM) (2006-2009), Senior Extension Specialist (FM) (2009-2012) Senior Farm Economist (2012-till date). He did his B.Sc. from Punjabi University Patiala in 1986,  M.Sc. from PAU, Ludhiana in 1990 and Ph.D. from Punjabi University Patiala in 2006.

   1. Honoured by the Hon’ble Chief Secretary S. Jai Singh Gill on 29 –03 –04 at CII- 4th Cotton Farmers Award for the cooperation and help rendered in organizing training camps for cotton crop in the CII (North India Chapter) Adopted Village Scheme.
   2. Awarded the “Dr (Mrs) Satwant Kaur Memorial Best Extension Worker Award.” for the year 2008 by the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Hon’ble Dr M.S.Swaminathan, the well-known scientist of India presented this award and personally appreciated the efforts for the farming community.
   3. Honoured by the Alumni, College of Agriculture, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in its annual meet 2010 for my services rendered to the Punjab farmers.
