Dr. Gurpreet Kaur joined PAU as District Extension Specialist (FM), PAU Ludhiana on 2002-

2014, Extension Specialist (FM) from 2014-2017 and Principal Extension Scientist (Agri. Economics)

from 2017 till date. She did her B.Sc.Agri.(Hons.) from PAU, Ludhiana in1996; M.Sc. Agri. Econ.,

from PAU, Ludhiana in 1999 and Ph.D. Agri. Econ. from PAU, Ludhiana in 2002. She had cleared

UGC NET and ASR NET in 1998. She also had additional charge of DES (Senior Most) since 2014.

During this period, she has delivered more than 250 extension lectures, field visits, surveys to

guide farmers and entrepreneurs.

1. Farm Advisory Service Scheme (Farm Management)
2. Establishing and networking of market intelligence centres in India (20-04-2009 to 31-03-

2014).

3. Social Impact Assessment of Acquisition of Land for missing link for completion of 200

feet wide road in Village Mullanpur.
