Dr. Gurveer Kaur joined PAU as a Scientist on 04.04.2020. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Rajasthan from March 2020 to October 2020. She has completed her B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from UAS Bengaluru in 2013, M. Tech. and PhD in Food Process Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2015 and 2019, respectively. She has published 16 research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals, authored 8 book chapters, and presented 24 papers in national and international conferences and symposiums, including two international presentations at the International Conference on Food Processing and Technology, Paris (2017) and the ASABE Annual International Meeting, Detroit (2018). Presently, she is a member of the departmental extension committee and higher education cell of the college and she mentors students for competitive exams like GATE, CAT, ICAR-PG, NET etc. She is also a life member of ISAE, ISTE, AFSTI, and Vibha Vigyan Parishad Panchnad.
