Brief Introduction

Dr.Harpreet Singh obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (2009–2013), M.Sc. in Plant Pathology (2013–2015), and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology (2015–2018) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He began his career as District Extension Specialist (Plant Pathology) at the Farm Advisory Service Centre, Kapurthala (August 2018–October 2019), and later served as Plant Pathologist (Fruits) in the Department of Fruit Science, PAU, Ludhiana (October 2019–September 2024). Since September 2024, he has been working as Plant Pathologist in the Rice Section, Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, PAU, Ludhiana. He has published 18 research papers in international and national journals. At present, he is guiding one M.Sc. student as Major Advisor and serving as Advisory Committee Member for three Ph.D. students.
