Brief Introduction

Dr. Jagmohan Kaur joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 14.10.2004 after completing her B. Sc. Agri. (Hons.) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 1999 and M.Sc. (Agronomy) from PAU in 2001. She did her Ph.D. Agronomy (Water management) from PAU in 2013. She served as Assistant Professor, KVK Langroya (2004 -.2008), Assistant Professor, PAU, Ludhiana (2008-2016), Assistant Agronomist, PAU Ludhiana (2016-2017), Senior Agronomist, PAU Ludhiana (2017 -2020) and Principal Agronomist (14.10.2020-till date). She has guided 4 M.Sc. students as major advisor and taught 33 Agronomy courses.  She has published 34 research articles in national and international journals, 3 book chapters and 64 extension articles and associated with the generation of 31 technologies included as recommendations of PAU in the Package of practices for crops of Punjab. She has delivered 60 lectures to guide farmers and farm women in crop production. She has worked in 8 sponsored testing projects as Co-PI. She is the treasurer of Indian Society of Agronomy (Ludhiana Chapter).
