Brief Introduction

Dr. Lalit Mohan Kathuria is, currently, working as Professor of Business Management with School of Business Studies, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He has completed      B. Com. from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (1991), M.B.A from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (1994) and M.Com. from Punjabi University, Patiala (1998), and has cleared University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam in ‘Management’ stream in 1996. He completed his Ph.D. (Business Administration) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (2005). He worked on different Executive positions in reputed organizations from July, 1994 to September, 1997. He worked as Lecturer/Lecturer (Sr. scale) at Beant college of Engineering and Technology (now Sardar Beant Singh State University, a Government of Punjab University), Gurdaspur from September, 1997 to May, 2006, and on 11.05.2006, he joined as Assistant Professor of Business Management at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, worked as Associate professor from 2008-14, and has been working as Professor since11.05.2014.  He has published 45 research papers in reputed National and International journals, contributed 12 papers in International and National conferences/seminars, written three text books, authored extension articles, and book chapters. He has, successfully, guided 73 MBA/MBA (Agribusiness) students, and 4 Ph.D. students, and has been an advisory committee member of more than 180 students. He has delivered more than 75 lectures as a resource person in various Training programs/ Faculty Development Programs/ Orientation programs/ Seminars/ Conferences organized for University Faculty, Officers of Central and State Government, and Farming community, and has delivered TV/Radio-talks. He is a member of Punjab Commerce and Management Association, and Indian Society of Agricultural Marketing.  He has been a chairperson/member of various committees at department/college/ university level.
