Brief Introduction

Dr. Manoj Kumar joined PAU as Assistant Ornithologist in 2010 after completing his M. Sc. Zoology and  Ph.D.Zoology from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2004 and 2009 respectively. His field of Specialization is Vertebrate Pest Management which includes Agricultural Ornithology, Avian ecology, Zoology, Ecology as thrust research areas. He is currently working in All Indian Network Project on Vertebrate Pest Management (Agricultural Ornithology) as Senior Ornithologist. 

He has CSIR-Senior Research Fellowship (CSIR-SRF): 2009; CSIR/UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET): Dec. 2003, June 2005 and University Research Scholarship (URS): 2004-2008 to his credit. He also vvisited the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Cornell University, New York, USA (October 5-20, 2018) to attend Sound Analysis Workshop.
