Brief Introduction

Dr. Mohit Gupta joined PAU as Assistant Professor on 22.11.2002 after completing BSc Agriculture (Hons) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 1996 and MBA (Marketing Management) from PAU in 1999. He did his PhD (Business Administration) from GNDU, Amritsar in 2011. He has worked with Vardhman Group as Executive (Corporate Raw Materials) from 1996-1997 and again from 1999-2002. He joined as Associate Professor on 22.11.2016 and Professor on 22.11.2019 (till date). His field of specialization is Financial Management. He has completed one project funded by UGC as Co-PI and one projects funded by DST Co-PI and is continuing as Co-PI with one project funded by Ministry of Agriculture. He has guided 82 MBA and MBA(AB) students and 4 PhD students as major advisor, published 67 research papers in national and international journals and presented 19 papers in national and international conferences. He has delivered 68 lectures to guide farmers and entrepreneurs in subject areas of commodity derivatives, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Presently he is the convenor of Teaching Committee of School of Business Studies and Associated with Comptroller, PAU for various activities.
